Moron's Hobby Update 10/15/2012

So hobby update from me, for I don’t know why, because I can?
I’ve started a painting commision. I’ve got to paint 20 Salamander Marines in 2 weeks. (I’m actually gonna try to do it in one week)
I’ve got everybody basecoated, and after tonight the first 10 have all their other colors and are ready for their dip into ArmyPainter Quickshade. I’ve already tried 2 models with this method and I must say it is pretty amazing (If you have a good matte varnish)

I’ve also got a lot of my unpainted marines primed and basecoated behind them. Those are low priority, but they’ll get done.

The last picture is just the results of me testing out a friends airbrush setup on my land raiders, just got the basecoat down, and some shading done with a wash on one or two of them.

You'll also see my Storm Talon Helicopter conversion sitting next to the Land Raiders. It is currently waiting inspiration and extra free time to get the painting finished.
